I received today an email from an unknown source that read - in total - as follows:

We must vote on November 2, like our lives depend on it,because it does.

The Republican party has been hi-jacked by dangerous, radical hate mongers called the "Tea Party". They are led by Glen (sic) Beck and Sara Palin who's only goal is to take down President Obama and the government. In any third world country this would be called a "Coup de Etat". In America we fight "coups" at the ballot box. These people hate Blacks. They hate Latinos . They hate Muslims and have at times made many anti-Semitic statements. They hate Gays. They hate any moderate Republican who might be likely to cooperate with Obama.

Their rallying cry? "We want to take back our country!! Take it back from whom? American soil is still wet with the blood of our ancestors who fought for our right to vote. And vote we must!

The polls say Republicans are going to win enough votes to take over the senate and congress because Democrats lack the enthusiasm to vote. We must get as many people to the polls now as we did to vote for Obama. We don't need enthusiasm. We need to vote out fear. Fear that these radicals could take this country back to Jim Crow and the hey-day of the Klu-Klux-Klan. Don't think it could happen? Just stay home on election day and see what happens to this country.

Time is very short. Don't leave the voting to the other guy. Vote a straight Democratic ticket for your state: Governor,

and especially senator and congressman. Try to reach as many people as you can, like African drums across America.

OH THE HORROR OF IT ALL!

The L.A. wusses are weeping and wailing because the President's motorcades and presence tied up traffic in this already traffic-challenged city.

This whining doesn't impress me in the least! I work in the District - on 15th and H Streets - and our traffic is constantly being tied up, generally at rush hour, because Herr Zippy likes to swan about town in motorcades, screwing up commuter traffic trying to get home to the 'burbs after working all day long. It's already a lengthy commute, frequently made longer because our President doesn't give a rat's ass for the people of the District or Virginia or Maryland and their needs or comfort!

So forgive me if I'm not really very sympathetic to the Left Coast whiners!

ARE THE CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS RACIST?

Prima facie evidence proves that they are. There are many corrupt Dems in the U.S. Congress. Yet only Charlie Rangel, Maxine Waters and William Jefferson are being charged with their illicit behavior. Nancy Pelosi, Chris Dodd, and countless others are equally corrupt and on a much grander scale than that happy band of miscreants, Rangel, Waters and Jefferson!

I recall that it was Dems who put the Jim Crow laws in place. It was Dems who stood in schoolhouse doors in the South trying to prevent black students from enrolling in formerly all white schools. In point of fact, it was Dems who carpetbagged to the South post Civil War and proceeded to institute "separate but equal" and "whites only" traditions!

What I don't understand is why on earth any person of color would find a home as a member of the Democratic Party! Blindness? Stupidity? Lack of knowledge of history?

THE "SALAMIS" ON "THE VIEW"

That pair of useless cretins, Michaele and Tareq Salahi were in New York yesterday so that the stick figure with the bleached blonde hair and entitled attitude could appear on The View to promote Real Housewives of D.C. - a show I will not watch. Film shows Whoopi Goldberg (who was not involved in the segment) walk out, touch Mrs. Salami on the shoulder and ask her to go back to the White House.

This completely useless piece of classless trash then proceeded to weep and wail that Whoopi had assaulted her! Did this moronic twit even notice that everything that happened was being FILMED? All this couple are is a pair of relentless self-promoters with no judgment and no class. She isn't even pretty for heaven's sakes!

Time for you felonious nitwits to go away and quit polluting our view with your crap. You contribute nothing to this society and despite your feelings of entitlement, you should be receiving no renumeration for making an ass of yourself by crashing the White House and endangering the President of the United States and his family. I'VE NEVER LIKED KATIE COURIC

First of all, I have serious issues with a woman her age being "Katie" - which is an appellation for a juvenile. Secondly, she is no journalist but rather a leftwing shill who is paid an inordinate amount of money for basically displaying her utter lack of talent! That gummy smirk wore thin the first time I was forced to look at her and her deeply rooted shallowness is unmistakeable.

Now we hear the tape in circulation which shows the brainless twit named Couric mocking the names of Sarah Palin's children.

The 2008 video, taken from a raw satellite feed, shows Couric, wearing reading glasses, rehearsing some intros at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn.

"Where the hell do they get these names?" she says while reading some copy about Palin's son, Track Palin. Just before that, Couric had mentioned then-four-month-old Trig Palin, the youngest of Palin's five children who was born with Down Syndrome.

Later in the video, Couric has some trouble with the correct pronunciation of Wasilla, Palin's hometown in Alaska.

The video was shot a few weeks before Couric's often-testy sitdown with Sarah Palin, in which the Vice Presidential hopeful couldn't name a publication she read regularly.

There is also another tape in circulation that shows her mocking her predecessor - Dan Rather. Say what you will about Dan Rather (and I've been as critical and dismissive as anyone - of his journalistic behavior in recent years), but on his WORST day he is twice the pure newsman than Ms. Couric will ever be.

AND ANOTHER LOAD OF HORSE COOKIES IS DROPPED!

LeBron James played for him for five years and in those five years, Dan Gilbert never supplied James with sufficiently talented supporting players and management to enable James to achieve his #1 goal - to win an NBA championship. Now granted, LeBron is only 25 years of age but the lifespan of a professional athletes career is necessarily limited by the physical grind of the career. So the following pure-Lord CRAP from Dan Gilbert (who probably didn't EARN one dime of his money but rather inherited it from harder-working, less infantile progenitors) is just offensive as hell to me - and I grew up in Cleveland!

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.
This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.
Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.
The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.
There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.
You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

CHUCKLE HEAD ASSISTANT SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT IN ILLINOIS

Parents in Illinois are outraged over a move by a local high school to scrap its girls basketball team's trip to Arizona over the Grand Canyon State’s new immigration law.

The Highland Park High School varsity basketball team has been selling cookies for months to raise money for a tournament in Arizona..

Now, after winning their first conference title in 26 years, the girls are being denied the opportunity to play in the tournament over safety concerns and because the trip “would not be aligned” with the school's “beliefs and values,” Assistant Superintendent Suzan Hebson told the Chicago Tribune.

Hebson said Arizona is off-limits, at least until it’s more clear how the state’s new law, which makes it a crime to be in the country illegally, will be enforced.

If Suzan Hebson doesn't want to go to Arizona her own self, she doesn't have to go. But these girls EARNED this trip and it really is up to their PARENTS, not this dippy liberal bitch whether or not they go to Arizona for a tournament they earned. And while she's at it, she should learn to spell her own damned name! Suzan - such a pretentious fraudulent spelling! Clearly reflects her pseudo-intelligence! Prior to the start of the Masters tournament, Tiger Woods averred he would not use profanity and throw his golf clubs during the Tournament. Clearly, if you were watching on Saturday, that was not the case. If you watched, you heard him yell, "Tiger, you suck!" and also use loud and sacriligious profanity.

Tiger, dear lad, you are attempting to rehabilitate your image which now portrays you as a spoiled, self-indulgent jerk. This performance was not the way to do it.

Would it be possible for you to accept that you are not the center of the entire world's attention and that other people's feelings and sensitivities are worth attention? In other words, stop behaving like an entitled BRAT!

What would have gone a long way towards making people forget how bad your on course behavior truly was would have been for you to man up, walk up to Phil Mickelson and congratulate him sincerely considering that the man has been going through hell during the past year with real problems that are not self-generated! WASHINGTON — Two weeks after President Barack Obama signed the big health care overhaul into law, Americans are struggling to understand how — and when — the sweeping measure will affect them.

Questions reflecting confusion have flooded insurance companies, doctors' offices, human resources departments and business groups.

"They're saying, 'Where do we get the free Obama care, and how do I sign up for that?' " said Carrie McLean, a licensed agent for eHealthInsurance.com. The California-based company sells coverage from 185 health insurance carriers in 50 states.

McLean said the call center had been inundated by uninsured consumers who were hoping that the overhaul would translate into instant, affordable coverage. That widespread misconception may have originated in part from distorted rhetoric about the legislation bubbling up from the hyper-partisan debate about it in Washington and some media outlets, such as when opponents denounced it as socialism.

"We tell them it's not free, that there are going to be things in place that help people who are low-income, but that ultimately most of that is not going to be taking place until 2014," McLean said.

They voted for Obama and now they're finding out that what he promised isn't materializing! What do you bet they'll blame George W. Bush?

A group calling itself The Guardians of a Free Republic sent letter last week to at least 30 of the nation's governors, demanding that they step down from office or "they will be removed" - an implied threat at the very least. As is so often the case with groups of this type, there's a vast conspiracy theory in operation accompanied by precious little actual knowledge of how our government works. For an example, they have been known to opine that these governors are not lawfully elected. What the hell?! I don't know about y'all but I know for sure I voted fair and square for the governor of Virginia - his campaign sign is still in my yard - and he hasn't been in office very long but so far, he's been doing a good job.

The members of this group see no reason why they cannot take their various claims of illegalities directly to the Supreme Court, thereby bypassing the various lower courts. Hey dummies, it just doesn't work that way! Learn how stuff works, learn the rules and the historical context and then open your moronic yaps.

People like this group frost my hide good and proper. They make legitimate right-wing people look foolish with their rather goofy antics and weird belief systems!

This saddens me. I am still furious with his horrendous behavior during the time that he tried to destroy President George W. Bush with the "Well those documents might have been faked, but they were accurate!" stupidity. But now, Dan Rather has further destroyed his once excellent reputation as a journalist out of his own mouth, with this:

DAN RATHER: Part of the undertow in the coming election is going to be President Obama's leadership. And the Republicans will make a case and a lot of independents will buy this argument. "Listen he just hasn't been, look at the health care bill. It was his number one priority. It took him forever to get it through and he had to compromise it to death." And a version of, "Listen he's a nice person, he's very articulate" this is what's been used against him, "but he couldn't sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic."

There's no excuse for this kind of stupidity! Unless of course you were providing cover for Rahm Emanuel's unbelievably stupid foray into accosting a U.S. Congressman, nekkid in the shower, sans tutu, shouting and yelling and generally behaving like an insane person might!
