The 2006 Heisman Trophy Belongs To This Exceptional Young Man


This is a picture of the extraordinary young man named Troy Smith, quarterback of The Ohio State University Buckeyes football team.

Young Mr. Smith is a good student, a most humble and unselfish young man, an amazing quarterback and, oh yes, a Heisman candidate.

There are times when the insanity that swirls through our lives can threaten to overwhelm. I am, therefore, grateful for the occasional hint that there are better people out there in our world than can be found in Washington, D.C.,or in the pages of the mainstream media preaching doom, destruction and surrender.

If you don't watch the Heisman selection show on Saturday night, be sure to catch Mr. Smith's amazing talents dazzlingly on display in the BCS National Championship Game on January 8th, 2007, against the Florida Gators.
