Literary vampire Bob Woodward barely waited until President Gerald R. Ford's funeral arrangements were announced to make his own announcement - that he's writing another book. Thereupon, the entire liberal world shuddered with anticipation! According to an article in today's L.A. Times (hardly a reliable source, but what the hell), former President Gerald R. Ford, said in an interview conducted little more than a year after President Bush launched the invasion, "I don't think I would have gone to war," he is reported by Woodward to have said about the Iraq invasion. An invasion, incidentally, which was advocated and carried out by prominent veterans of Ford's own administration. [Note - that interview would have been conducted more than 2 years ago.]
Gee, Bob, you'll do damned near anything to line your own pockets, won't you?
In an article appearing today in the New York Daily News Thomas M. DeFrank details his 2-hour lunch on May 11, 2006 with the late President, an account which is at odds with Woodward's claimed interview.

Since Mr. DeFrank's lunch was much more recent than the interview by Mr. Woodward, hmmmm - whose account deserves credence?
Why I do believe I will put my faith in Mr. DeFrank and his loving memory of his last encounter with President Ford, rather than trust the liberal press!

Bob Woodward of "Deep Throat" fame? Bob Woodward, who interviewed the unconscious William Casey?
Yeah, I'd put a lot of stock in whatever he said! The left is all a twitter, I'm sure.
Hey, anon, it's a LOT easier to interview the unconscious! They don't obfuscate!
