JEALOUS MUCH?

There's a new word for opportunistic morons in the dictionary. It's called a "dupnik" and it came into common use on Saturday last.

I suppose it's understandable that Sheriff Dupnik would see this as his chance to make himself as famous as Sheriff Joe Arpaio. But Sheriff Arpaio is famous for being a tough, uncompromising no-nonsense kind of guy while Dupnik is becoming famous for being a rush-to-judgment, no need of facts or evidence, self-serving kind of political hack whose only goal is self-aggrandizement. It's no accident that Rush Limbaugh routinely calls him Sheriff Dipstick! In my circle of friends, we aren't so nice. We call him Sheriff Dumbshit.

Shame on you, Sheriff Dupnik. You are a sour little bitter man. And while we're on the subject, it is not your job to decide which laws you want to enforce. It is your job to enforce the laws passed by the legislature of Arizona, whether you agree or not. You also have the right and privilege to campaign against laws you find difficult by giving well-thought-out reasoning to support your beliefs. But you haven't got the right to be so irresponsible as to just throw your own prejudiced viewpoint around willy-nilly when you're speaking from your bully pulpit as Sheriff of Pima County.

UPDATE: On second (and third) thought - maybe the Sheriff is trying obfuscate the dialogue because he has reason to know full well that his department dropped the ball with regard to that nutjob shooter!
