ABSOLUTELY TONE-DEAF!

In a speech this past Friday, the President vowed to continue to push for "health care reform" - in other words, he is insistent on saddling this nation with a program that its citizens neither want nor need. There are, give or take, 300 million people in the United States. Of that total, it is estimated that 45 million are not covered by any kind of health insurance. Of THAT 45 million, it is estimated that 10-12 million are uninvited residents of our country - that is to say, illegal aliens! The balance are young people who CHOOSE to forego health care, deciding instead that the $300 per month cost of same is better spent on housing, car payments, partying, and so forth. As to this group, why should you and I be held to be responsible for the irresponsible? I think that's a valid question and one that has never ever been answered or even asked often. As to the illegal aliens, they do just fine, finding whatever health care they need on our dime at emergency rooms nationwide, where they cannot be refused care by federal mandate!

So where's the emergency on that. Just because I SAY something is an emergency, does that make it an emergency? I don't think so.

Apparently the lesson of New Jersey, New York, Virginia and Massachusetts has yet to be learned! What a bunch of idiots.
