Thank you Senator Lieberman for displaying grace, courage and the power of true conviction and patriotism in your speech last night on the Senate floor.
The saddest thing about it is that most of those knuckleheads didn't really "get" what you were saying.

He is definitely living up to his nickname of Independent Joe, isn't he? Wow. He gave such a great speech and while I don't agree with him on a lot of issues, he really nailed this one.
My favorite Democrat . . . As I told his aide, Lanny Davis, whom I bumped into in a coffee shop the morning following "Joey's" victory party, "I want you to know we're all counting on you."
Joe Lieberman is the type of man who exemplifies what I though Democrats were when I was growing up. However, time and age has proven that he is a rare breed indeed.
