Thanks for showing me to the site that contains great quotes from General George S. Patton. Here is one that should be fed intravenously to far too many members of the U.S. Congress:

There is a great deal of talk about loyalty from the bottom to the top. Loyalty from the top down is even more necessary and is much less prevalent. One of the most frequently noted characteristics of great men who have remained great is loyalty to their subordinates.

Our president consistently demonstrates this quality among his many other virtues. Would that our U.S. Congress did likewise. Unfortunately, far too many of them are lazy, lacking in basic common sense and/or venal to their cores.
