PRAYER REQUESTS
A toddler named Sarah Fyock is hospitalized in dire need of a heart transplant. Please pray for her and her parents that they may have strength and healing, both spiritual and physical. She's a beautiful little thing. Her father works with my sister.

Longtime readers of this blog know that I used to have a very dear friend named Andrea whose son David died 5 years ago of a drug overdose. Since that time, Andrea has wanted nothing so much as to join her son in death and it appeared that no amount of consolation could stay her drive to destroy her own life due to the loss of her son. She stopped taking her diabetes medication, as well as all other heart and blood pressure medications. Wednesday night it appears that she finally got her wish - she suffered a Category 5 stroke and she is not expected to live. For her sake and in memory of a friendship that lasted nearly 40 years, I pray that she finds the peace and consolation she has so desperately needed for so long. I further pray that she receives the resounding answer to her denials of God's grace or even existence when she comes before Him and finds her beloved son waiting for her, along with all her other cherished family who have gone before.
