OUT OF THEIR OWN DISHONEST MOUTHS!

Americans will take time this Memorial Day to remember those who have given what Lincoln called "the full measure of devotion" to protect our freedoms, here in Washington it is politics as usual. And as someone whose paternal ancestors fought and died in every single conflict since the Revolutionary War, I am outraged, incensed and disgusted at what is going on. Furthermore, as someone whose maternal ancestors left a comfortable and secure life in Europe in search of better opportunity and stability here in this country and sacrificed their health, both physical and financial to provide the dream of liberty to their children, I am appalled.

Congress this week found time to reinterpret (incorrectly) the Constitution – which is not their job – and tried to slip a veto override onto a bill that had not even been passed by them before the President (rightly) vetoed it. Oops, sorry folks. Just another little bit of completely inept behavior from what has proven to be the most useless members in my (long) memory of the House of Representatives under the most completely incompetent Speaker of the House, Her Majesty Nancy Pelosi (D-Botox). Of course, Congress did find time to honor a college basketball team, Arnold Palmer, and Frank Sinatra but then went home for a two-week vacation without funding American troops in combat, putting even the paychecks of our soldiers in jeopardy.

That's bad enough, now this video surfaces in which Rep. Paul Kanjorski, a leading congressional liberal, admits that Democrats lied to the public on the War in Iraq to win control of Congress. If you are not outraged, there is something seriously wrong and you deserve the ineffective representation you are receiving.

Here’s the deal. THEY work for US. Despite their demonstrated beliefs to the contrary, WE are the employers of these clowns. And in the immortal words of Carrie Bradshaw, “There is nothing scarier than a clown!”

My suggestion – fire the bastards. Every last one of them is up for re-election in November. Haven’t we suffered enough?!
