MISS U.S.A. AND PEREZ HILTON

Self-proclaimed Queen of All Media (and in my opinion, only a mediocre writer), Perez Hilton was, for some bewildering reason a judge at the Miss U.S.A. pageant. And in his capacity as a judge, he asked of Miss California a question about Gay marriage and, to her credit, she answered with complete honesty about her values and beliefs. And with typical politically correct intolerance, Mr. Hilton has been excoriating this beautiful young woman nonstop ever since the pageant!

Mr. Hilton is a textbook example of intolerance run amok. He is prone to outrageous calumnies against those he does not like on his website and nobody ever calls him on it. Apparently, people are afraid of his wrath. Why? He’s just one individual. He labels people he has never met “douchebags” or “slutty” and judges the behavior of many other people. Most Americans do not believe in gay marriage, Mr. Hilton. It isn’t that we are haters, we just don’t believe in gay marriage on religious grounds. And this is America, Mr. Hilton. That is our right as Americans. We don’t need to agree with you in your headlong quest to force gay marriage down our throats, we don’t need to be complicit, we don’t need to approve. We don’t have to be politically correct. You reacted with fury and anger when Criss Angel labeled you the “biggest douchebag in the U.S.” and apparently can dish it out but cannot take it. Criss Angel is not someone I particularly like. But in this instance, I think he was defining your total lack of character! Lack of tolerance is a two way street. If you want to be respected, you need to respect other people’s views and religious beliefs. That’s the American way, you intolerant sycophantic pipsqueak!
