R.I.P. FARRAH FAWCETT

It's a sobering thing when people younger than you are succumbing to disease and you're still waking around, mainly healthy! Here was a beautiful woman, who seemed to have all the gifts a person seeks in life, including a man who loved her (albeit Ryan O'Neal is a very flawed man), a handsome, if troubled son who adored her, fame, money. I feel about Ms. Fawcett's death much as I felt about my late mother's death - I'm sorry to see her go but I'm glad that her horrendous pain is over.

Now, it is time to thank Ms. Fawcett for the gifts of entertainment she gave to us by remembering her in our prayers, along with her grieving family.

Farewell, beautiful lady. Rest well.
