I don't pretend to know what is in Senator Joe Lieberman's heart, but I will tell you this. The chance of Joe switching parties is about the same as the Browns winning the next 5 Super Bowls. Unless Sen. Lieberman plans to retire at the end of this term, and being the incredibly cushy job it is, most will hang on to it until they are forced out by scandal or senility, so I doubt it. Lieberman will never win another term in heavily blue Connecticut as not only a Republican, but a Republican that jumped ship and gave control of the Senate back to the Republican party. You can take that one all the way to the bank.
