TODAY'S MUST-READ

Once again, the Anchoress, writing from a heart filled with love, common sense and understanding, examines the vituperative and hate filled treatment of our President and explains why we should admire his fortitude and grace under incredible and difficult circumstances and pray for our President's enemies.

Former President Clinton gave a great deal of attention to his "legacy" as President, thereby ensuring that he has none worth remarking. President George W. Bush continues his presidency as he started: focused, compassionate and steadfast to his Christian values and his love of his country. While he may not experience the respect and admiration he deserves in his lifetime, I know that his remarkable contributions will be understood and valued in the future.

The late President John F. Kennedy once said that no president should be judged until 50 years AFTER the death of his last contemporary. Works for me.
